Elk Grove Village Carousel Room

Big sister Jordan was invited to a birthday party and I got to come along.
I hung out with another boy my age.
I had a lot of fun sitting on big foam cushions.
Daddy said, "Look out, ladies. My boy's got a bike now." He's funny!

Lil' Scooter

I decided I wanted to take the scenic route to the kitchen today.

Cooperation...

Daddy says I cooperate just as well as my big sister did. I don't think that's a compliment...

Starting Solid Foods

Mommy and Daddy thought I should eat applesauce, but I decided to skip ahead to lamb.

Sleepy Poo

This evening, I fell asleep on my pillow after eating.

Food Time

I was happily eating my yummy sheep...
...but then Mommy made me eat cereal, which I didn't want. I fought her! I didn't open my mouth and barely got any cereal.
Then, horror beyond reckoning, she made me eat carrots...
...help! Mommy made me eat a few spoonfuls of carrots. I did not like it.

Baby Roger

Daddy wanted to take a picture of us with our Baby Roger t-shirts on. It took a while to get settled. Big sister Jordan was 'helping' me settle down but I didn't like it.
We finally got a couple of good pictures in although Daddy looks a little bit like a bunny-napper.

Mr. Cutie

Mommy took a picture of me yesterday as I tried to grab the phone.

Serious Reader...

Zoo Morning

This morning, Daddy, Mommy, Jordan and I went to the zoo.
I watched the fish with rapt attention.
I also liked watching the penguins...
...and the seagulls.
I took a comfortable little snooze in my stroller.

Doctor Checkup

Yesterday I went to see the doctor for my six month checkup. I'm now 17 lbs. (25-50%), 27 3/4 in. (85%), and have a head circumference of 17 3/4 in. (75-85%). I yelled when I got my shots. Apparently, they ran out of Pentacel vaccine, so they had to give me three separate shots and they didn't give me my polio vaccine shot. I'll get it at my 1 yr. or 18 mo. checkup.

The doctor said I was ready for some solid food. I was looking forward to the hot dog that Daddy had on his plate a couple of days ago, but it turns out that it will be oatmeal cereal and pureed vegetables and fruit only.

Mommy had the doctor look at the flat spot on the back of my head. The doctor said that it looked ok, and that she didn't think I should get a helmet nor that the cranial doctors would recommend I get a helmet. She said that it should self-correct as I get bigger and as I continue to spend time not lying on my back.

Food Fight

Mommy and Daddy never share their food! On Friday night, I tried to get some of the delicious food that I see Mommy and Daddy eat, but they took it away from me.
