Spring Break Vacation Day 10: The Journey Home
Apple Jacks or Froot Loops?
We stopped at Cracker Barrel and I captured several of Jordan's checkers.
I played connect the dots with Daddy but he didn't want to play with me after a while because he said I was cheating. But cheating is fun!
Spring Break Vacation Day 9: Charlottesville Marathon
On Friday night, Daddy slept in the bed with Jordan and me so that Mommy could have the other bed all to herself and have a good night's rest. He claimed I was a Tasmanian devil maniac, kicking and spinning around. I don't know what he's talking about.
We drove seven hours after the race and checked into our hotel after 10pm.

Spring Break Vacation Day 8: Charlottesville
Most of the hotels we have stayed at have served a light complimentary breakfast, which Mommy and Daddy thinks is very convenient. We have enjoyed having Froot Loops everyday even though Mommy says "so much sugar!" all the time. This is just one of the reasons we love vacation so much.
After breakfast we got washed.
We drove to Charlottesville. It was raining pretty hard for a while. We had a fancy meal at Oakhart's Social in Charlottesville. Like this octopus dish that Mommy ordered, which she said was good.
But my favorite was the melted s'more dessert.
Then I had an oatmeal raisin cookie when we came back to the hotel. This is one of my favorite things about vacation: sometimes I get two desserts!
Spring Break Vacation Day 7: Natural History Museum and Capitol Area
We went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and the Capitol and Library of Congress today. We passed by the Supreme Court and met up with Mommy's friend Aunt Jennie for dinner at a yummy ramen restaurant.
I touched and held several bugs. I was brave!
I even took a picture for Mommy, Daddy, and Jordan.
Spring Break Vacation Day 5: Independence National Park
We went to the Independence National Park in Philadelphia on Tuesday. We saw the Liberty Bell and toured Independence Hall, then went to the National Mint. No pictures were allowed at the National Mint.
