Disney Train Fun
My sister Jordan and I played with the Disney Train that Grandma Lai gave me for Christmas. It was fun!

Merry Christmas!
Mommy and Daddy made me do a lot of tummy time today while they prepared Christmas dinner.
I wish I could play with all the wonderful toys I got today...
...but I can't, yet. Too small and immobile. So sad.
Later this evening I hung out in the basement with everyone. Auntie Joyce held me for a while.

Doctor's Visit
Mommy took me in to see a doctor at Town and Country Pediatrics in their Glenview office today to check to make sure I wasn't wheezing but only congested. She made me do tummy time while waiting for the doctor. That's mean, Mommy! I wasn't even feeling well. I would have flipped her off but I get my fingers confused.
Moo Moo Mover
I grabbed the handle of my cow toy yesterday. Mommy was trying to teach me how to pull it down, but I've made progress, nonetheless!

My Buddies
This evening my friends Ethan, Quinn and Will came over to play with me. Quinn and Will are twins and they are about my age - they are 5 months old. I was only able to catch a picture with Quinn. Mommy would have loved to get a picture of all 5 kids but that would have been impossible, so she didn't even try.

Smiley Time
I spent the afternoon with Daddy because Mommy had to run a few errands. I had fun with Daddy and smiled at him.

Nappy Time
I have had the sniffles for a few days and it's making me grumpy. I finally took a nap but woke up soon after this picture was taken.

Nose Symphony
Mommy thinks the symphony I play through my nose is funny. This video was taken three days ago.

The Daily Monkey
I like catnapping, which drives Mommy crazy because when she puts me down to sleep in my bassinet or in the Pack n' Play, I will immediately...
...become wide awake...
...and start grousing. Then I get punished by having to do some tummy time. Yeah, here I am, doin' my time.

Two Months Old!
I'm two months old today and taking an afternoon nap. I only get to eat every 2 to 2.5 to 3 hours now, instead of every 1 to 1.5 to 2 hours when I'm awake. Doctor's orders are doctor's orders.

Two-Month Checkup
Today I went to see the doctor for my two-month checkup. I waited for just a few minutes...
...but that was enough for me to start getting restless.
The nurse told Daddy to undress me for the exam. It was chilly!
The doctor who saw me wasn't my regular doctor. She asked Daddy to help weigh and measure me. I now measure 23 1/2 in., which is 85 percentile and weigh 11 pounds 14 oz., which is 50 percentile. My head circumference is >40 cm, which is 90 percentile. My weight gain in 30 days has only been 1 pound 10 oz., which is less than an ounce a day which is what babies my age to generally gain weight at. I was between 50 and 75 percentile in weight at my 1-month checkup but now I'm just 50 percentile.
Mommy is definitely F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G out. She said that not only am I not making up ground relative to other kids, I'm losing ground. I think her expectations are probably a little skewed since big sister Jordan was an Amazon at 95 percentile in weight and 99+ percentile in height. Jordan was 13 pounds 4 oz. when she was 2 months old, but I'm only 11 pounds 14 oz.
The doctor told Mommy not to feed me so often. They almost got into an argument about how eating less often is better for gaining weight. It's like I've been at an all-day buffet all the time. For Mommy and most normal people, they'd gain weight like crazy. But for Daddy, maybe he'd actually lose weight because he'd be snacking all the time and get fewer calories overall. Yeah, that doesn't make sense to Mommy, either. If it indeed is possible, and I take after Daddy, maybe I could gain more weight by eating bigger meals less frequently.
Mommy thinks I have chicken legs, especially as compared to my big sister Jordan who literally had rolls of fat on her legs when she was two months old.
After the doctor left, the nurse came in to give me my vaccines. I didn't like the shots but I calmed down faster than big sister Jordan did. When I got home, though, I was extra grouchy and fussed all evening.

I wake up quickly and it takes me a while to fall asleep.

Size 2 Diapers
I graduated to Size 2 diapers today. Hopefully they fit me, because I don't have any Size 1 diapers left and there will be 3 boxes of Size 2 diapers in the next week!

Super Tummy Timer
Mommy got a good shot of me doing tummy time yesterday. I was holding my head really high.

Little Padawan
Mommy says I'd be a more convincing Jedi in training if I wouldn't get upset about getting into my onesie and fight it.

Hanging Out
Mommy took a few pictures of me yesterday just hanging out. Here I'm lying on my diaper changing pad.
I like to grouse, especially when I am tired. Mommy doesn't understand why I can't just go to sleep like a normal person. It's because I'm a small baby: I need help falling asleep.
